I’m Virginia. Creative digital designer, wife, and proud dog mom of 2 little pups.
My husband and I live in San Antonio where we love to hangout without with friends, and take our fur babies out on the town. I’ve always loved creating whether it was drawing, painting, or designing, and I am lucky to have a husband that supports me in all that I love to do!
I was born and raised in San Antonio, and have stayed in this wonderful city my entire life. I grew up with a very creative, entrepreneurial mind; like most kids in the 90’s, my first business was a lemonade stand. Helping others is something I have always enjoyed. I was a girl scout all the way from selling the delicious cookies in Brownies (shout out to my thin mint fans!), all the way through being awarded my Girl Scout Gold in high school. This is when the digital designer in me came to life. I learned so many amazing lessons through this project, and I am so glad that I never lost sight of the potential impact my project could have on my community.
I loved painting as a kid, and continued down that artist path all the way through college where I graduated from the University of Texas with a BFA in Studio Art, and Business Foundations Certificate. After I graduated college, I began working at Whataburger headquarters on the digital team developing the app and website for the company. Alongside the digital work I was doing, and all that I was learning, I started a business for my art selling paintings as a side hustle. I still keep up with this business, but am shifting my focus to designing and developing brands and websites.
With all I have accomplished and learned in my life, I have finally found a way to live doing what I love; just like that, VSM Design Group was born. This is a business that specializes in creative digital design. My focus is on website and brand design, also providing services for maintaining the digital side of your business through retainer packages. As I have mentioned, I have a great passion and joy for helping others. My mission is designing success by generating everlasting, fresh designs with you through my personable, stress free approach.
